I don’t think there’s anyone out there who doesn’t have some kind of ‘bucket list’. Whether that includes visiting certain places, doing some crazy things or even doing something that scares you! For me, seeing in the New Year in Sydney has been pretty high up on my list for a long time, so I was so excited to experience it. What a way to start the year!

As a Brit in Australia, it was a strange feeling to be in the height of summer at this time of year, but with this brought so many awesome things to do in Sydney. I found the cheapest beer I’ve had so far in Australia, walked so much my feet felt like they were going to fall off, saw a show in the Sydney Opera House and met with an awesome bunch of complete strangers on Christmas day and spent it on the beach. It’s safe to say, it’s the least wintery Christmas and New Year I’ve ever had, and one I won’t forget.
